Hi 🙂 i have the pleasure of having Kezia as a guest tonight. “Ramblings of a loner” is where she calls home..please pass there (by clicking her name) after reading.

He used her. Now that she could look back at the ruins that were the relationship, she could finally see clearly. He had never cared. It was all just a game to him.

Maybe she was naive, trusting him, believing him, and thinking it was love. He ripped out her heart, stomped all over it and tossed it in the trash.

Expendable. Unwanted. Used. She was nothing to him.

Tired. He loved her, always had, probably always will, but she barely acknowledged him. She didn’t see him the way he saw her. Love of his life, a precious gift. All she saw when she looked at him was…what did she see? Not the guy who loved her, and wanted her to be happy. She was too busy pining over someone who couldn’t care less about her, failing to see what was right in front of her. Weary, sad and tired. He accepted the fact that he was just a friend.

Ashamed. It had happened, he hadn’t planned it, well…he had flirted and teased, but it was all just harmless right? At least that was what he thought. One minute they were friends, casual, and the next minute she was professing her love?

What was he supposed to do? He ran. Ignored her calls, found a new girl and moved on with his life. He wished she’d do the same. He hadn’t meant for any of this to happen. It just did.

Ashamed. That was what he was.

Everybody knows about love triangles; and I’m sure we can all identify with at least one of these people/situations. Please feel free to leave your comments!
